A Day of Confusion

Today was a day reserved for Senator McCain alone. How this man could go from a discussion of the war in Iraq, to "global warming", is not only beyond the pale, but beyond comprehension itself. The candidate presumptive, is displaying a puerile side of himself that does not exactly inspire confidence. In fact, for each forward stride he makes, he takes two sideways, and then one in reverse. In other words, he is going in circles to a place of no destiny. What a shame!

The weather, beautiful, should have elicited an appreciation for all things, but it didn't turn out that way. Quite frankly, the political mood is not one of anticipation, rather one of just wishing for it all to be over. In picking up my granddaughter at school, she told me proudly that she had engaged a fellow student in debate concerning global warming, or as she referred to it, "global hoaxing". I have been lecturing? her for the past week, encouraging her to speak up. She did, and she was proud. By the way, she won the debate.

And now, back to the appreciated, and rewarding task of educating the saviors...
