Mondays are cool too

Not much new today, other than the Iranian President's denouncing the US during his visit to Iraq. It is almost like hearing an echo whenever one of these nutjobs speaks on the world stage. You know to what I refer,: Democrat Party talking points. What is truly surreal, is the question that enters one's mind: Which came first, the words of the nutjobs, or the Democrat talking points? A second question that begs an answer is: How in the name of God is it possible that almost half of the people in our country care not a bit about any of this at all?

On the one hand, we witnessed today, Senator Obama's campaign staff apparently admitting that he lied to all Canadians when they advised their Canadian friends that his comments about NAFTA were merely, "political speak for US listeners on his campaign circuit." On the other hand, Conservatives were being admonished to, "take it easy on Senator McCain", and to get firmly behind his candidacy. Does anyone recall when was the last time Liberals, or Moderates were so admonished. Never!

For anyone to think that Rush, or Sean, or Mark can dictate what any good Conservative should do, should think again. Conservatives think for themselves, they can not be told what to do, or what not to do. Innately, all Conservatives make up their own minds based on what their hearts, their instincts, and their intellect tells them is best, first, for our country, and second, what is best for them personally. Let there be no mistake.

Grandson #1 is studying the Constitution this week at school, and he is better prepared than most to participate in classroom discussions. Why? Because he has a fundamental idea as to the importance of that which their studying, and he is keenly interested. My only advice to him was to make sure he is a full participant, and not just a listener. Question everything he does not understand, making the teacher thus accountable.

Tonight has come to an end, so Goodnight my friends.
